Video Go Round

Want news? Here is some stuff to look into:

Video Go Round is a web-based service that instantly converts plain text into professional videos. The main benefit of this is that you can create videos on the fly to generate visitors.

For example, if you want to promote the latest affiliate Internet marketing program or Internet marketing program launch, you’d simply login to Video Go Round, enter some text, click a button, and you have a video ready to blast out to video sites for free visitors…

What Kind of Links to Look for in SEO?

Not all links are equal. Many experts say that there are no bad links and you should get any that you can get. Personally, I don’t entirely agree with that notion. While it’s true that no one link will do harm, it takes time to get them, after all. So it makes sense to efficiently use your time and get quality back links as opposed to random links that may be useless.

So how do I define quality links? There’s no definitive answer and the criteria can vary over time, but the following are the criteria that I think will always define quality back links no matter what changes.

It’s important to understand the goals of search engine such as the leader Google. We know that a link is the main unit of value in search engine algorithms when determining page relevance. That is not likely to change, because the Internet itself is all about links. A quality link then would be that which comes from a quality page.

There are types of pages that are obviously of a very low quality, and links from them also have little to know value. For example link farms or pages from sites heavily abused by spammers.

Other links are harder to evaluate, but there are some metrics we can use, such as the Page Rank. A page with PR and only few links to other sites is obviously of a great value and it’s worth to spend some time getting a link from.

But PR is not the only metric and, as a matter of fact, a page may not necessarily have PR at all to be considered of high quality. For example, a page on a site that has many back links and other pages with PR, that has few other outgoing links will also likely be of good quality. You get the drift.

In a nutshell, we can say that the easier it is to get a link, the less quality it potentially has. It’s not a definitive rule obviously (for example, the easiest way to get links is from your other sites, but that doesn’t diminish the quality), but it’s worth to be considered. For example, a link from social bookmarking site can be of zero use, because just about anyone can get such a link. On the other hand, if that links gets voted up to the site’s home page, it’s quality suddenly skyrockets – that’s not something that happens everyday and to everyone though. You get the idea.
